So I've got a non-working machine for it's intended purpose and I have no idea what to do with it now. Very little else has been installed on it.ĭoing an lshw -c display on it shows *-display UNCLAIMED so looks like the driver isn't running. I built the machine from a centos minimal install just installed x11 on it and the xfce desktop and firefox. ![]() Rebooting the machine still comes up with 1024x768 with no options to change up to the tablet's 1280x720 screen or extend the desktop etc at all. I then downloaded 96 which now installed after a while with no errors. I uninstalled the 18.10 drivers and tried again with the old 18.10 drivers and it mentioned something about amdgpu dkms failed for running kernel after install and the drivers don't seem to be active. This tablet is used as a wallboard and has a TV plugged in to the HDMI port which now just clones the internal display. Now the gpu drivers don't work at all and it's stuck booting up in a 1024x768 display. As I mentioned it was working fine with the amdgpu 18.10 drivers until the 7.5 update. AMD C60 cpu with an integrated Amd Radeon 6290. I have a now broken Centos machine, it was running 7.3 I think when I built it and recently I came to update it via yum update and it's now updated to 7.5 and totally broken the radeon drivers.
